Countryside Gifts, LLC features a wide range of handmade wooden gifts and collectibles. From wooden toys, model cars and trucks, construction and farm equipment, puzzles and games, moveable's and pull toys, crayon and pencil holders, model airplanes, decorative plaques and wall hangings, home decor and country folk items. Countryside Gifts LLC has something for everything.
All our products are made by hand in a fully equipped woodshop from a variety of hard and softwoods such as white pine, fir, birch, oak, beech, walnut, poplar, cherry, mahogany, maple and more. Nearly all of the products that we sell are original, exclusive designs of Countryside Gifts LLC and are not available for sale anywhere else. We guarantee that every item we sell has been handcrafted by us. |
Attention to Detail
Every product we create is carefully made and great care is taken to use only the finest woods and materials. Our products are designed by hand, cut by hand, sanded by hand, and finished and painted by hand. Each item is lovingly shaped and built. Details are important to us and some of our products take weeks to build and finish.
All our products are sanded smooth and painted and finished with non-toxic finishes, making them safe to be handled. Some of our products use multiple coats bringing the item to a beautiful high-gloss protective finish that will make you proud to own the item. Our products make great display and conservation pieces for generations to come. Non-toxic finishes and paints are used on our products. |

We take pride in our work and customer satisfaction is number one. Therefore, each item is inspected before our products ship to ensure that each product leaves the shop in beautiful working condition.
Our products are proudly made by hand in the USA.
We handle all aspects of our business. We ship your packages timely usually within an day of your order. We do not process your credit card until your order is ready to ship. We ship via US Postal Mail and packages arrive usually between 2 to 3 days from the ship date.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are your products made? / Who Makes Your Products? We guarantee that every product on our site was made by hand by Countryside Gifts LLC. All products are made in the United States of America. Countryside Gifts LLC only purchases wood and other parts from companies based in the United States. We do not outsource any work or any business. All workmanship, shipping, etc is handled in house. You will not find our products on any other store or site! They can only be purchased through countrysidegifts.com
What type of wood do you use?We use a variety of woods in our products. Some products are made from softwoods such as as pine or fir with accents of hardwoods such are oak, maple, and birch. Other products are made completely from hardwoods, some of which are exotic and imported. All of the wood that we use is preservative free. We use only the finest parts of wood.
What type of glues do you use?Most of our products are held together using high strength construction-grade wood glue. This glue is very strong and in many cases is stronger then the actual wood itself. Glue is non-toxic.
What type of paint, finishes or stains do you use?We sell many different products and depending on the intended use of each item, a different type of finish is used. Likewise, a different type of finish is used on items depending on the look that our customers want to see. It is important to note that all of our finishes are safe when cured. All products are fully cured when they are shipped.
Some products, mostly those that may be handled by children, are finished with a certified non-toxic paint and may then be coated with with high gloss Shellac which is safe as it is used in the food and drug industry. Other items are dyed using a non-toxic food-safe dye. Other products that may be handled by children are finish sanded smooth and no finish is applied to them.
Other products are left natural and contain no paint or finishes. These items are great for customers wanting all natural wooden items with no finishes at all. These items also tend to be cheaper and also are how bulk purcahses are shipped.
Some decorative items, items that can be placed outdoors and decorative models are finished with polyurethane which provides a good, hard protective finish as well as a high gloss, glass-like shine. This type of finish not only protects the item but also gives the item a beautiful, "wet" look that brings out the beauty of the wood.
Every product on our site has a detailed description of what materials are used in the item. Please refer to each item to see how each item is finished. As always, you may request different finished to be applied to special order items. Just contact us for more information.
How fast do you ship your items?If the order is placed before noon on a weekday we usually ship it out that same day. If not, the order is shipped the next workday. We ship via US Mail. It is the cheapest method of shipping. Most packages will arrive in 2 to 3 business days from the ship date. Express mail is also available. We will alert you via email when your package has shipped and when you can expect it.
Do you take special orders?Yes! We will be more then happy to talk to you about customizing an existing one of our products or building something totally unique for you. We have designed items based on the needs of clients whom have contact us. We can customize an item to your needs or can simply handcraft an item we already sell and apply a different color, finish etc. Please contact us with your needs and specifications.
Can I purchase your items in bulk?We sell some items in bulk for the purposes of craft parties, school art projects, etc. Bulk items are a special order item and are shipped sanded smooth but unfinished so they can be painted in class or at the party. You may take a look at out Bulk Buy Section or you may contact us for custom inquaries if you do not see the item you want seen there.
Who owns the designs of your products? / Can I get a plan for one of your designs?Most of our products are original designs of Countryside Gifts LLC and thus our woodworkers and craftsmen are the owners of the designs. We do not sell our designs and no copies of our plans are available. Only the final, finished product is available for sale.
